                                latter category is in empty spaces at ends of texts. The first item contains a foreword describing

                                several NB marks in the margin. This is a clear indicaiton of a scholarly interest. The remaining,

                                son. <name type="person" key="ThoJon005">Þorsteinn Jónsson</name>, student, may have been the man who
                                married the daughter of séra <name type="person" key="JonJon070">Jón Jónsson</name> of <name type="place">Helgastaðir</name>, the tutor of Þorsteinn Benediktsson above. The manuscript
                                came to the Advocates' Library after <date>1830</date>.
