<p>The scribe, <name key="ArnMag002" role="owner" type="person">Árni Magnússon</name> in <name type="place"
>Bolungarvík</name>, owned the book (see fol. 311). <name key="JonMag013" role="owner" type="person">Jón
Magnússon</name> in Sveinseyri inherited it from his father, <name key="ambig" role="owner" type="person">Magnús
Magnússon</name>, and marked his ownership in 1707 (see fol. 4r). In 1708 Jón agreed to sell it to <name
key="ArnMag001" role="owner" type="person">Árni Magnússon</name> and <name key="ThoArn003" role="owner"
type="person">Þorleifur
Árnason</name>, and in the same year Þorleifur gave the manuscript to Árni (see fol. 1r).</p>
