                        <p>For the first part, <ref type="ms" target="#AM02-0011-en" ana="#antigraph">AM 11 fol.</ref> was used as
                           the exemplar (cf. <bibl>Slay 1960, p.103</bibl>). The second exemplar is most likely a now lost
                           manuscript derived from <ref type="ms" target="#AM02-0009-en" ana="#protograph">AM 9 fol.</ref>,
                           possibly another copy of AM 12 b fol. when it was still complete (cf. <bibl>Slay 1960, p.104</bibl>).
                           The manuscript contains the first half of the text of
                           Hrólfs saga kraka and was written to complement the text in <ref type="ms" target="#AM02-0012-b-en">AM
                              12b, fol.</ref> (cf. <bibl>Slay 1960, p.102</bibl>).</p>
