                           <p>The manuscript has suffered much damage. Fol. <locus>22</locus> must have been lost and replaced
                              before <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name> acquired the manuscript. The
                              subsequent 13 leaves, fols. <locus>23-35</locus>, have lost varying amounts of text on account of
                              damage to the margins; none of these leaves have an original inner margin intact. The remaining
                              leaves all show some sign of decay, but only on fol. <locus>150</locus> is there damage to the text.
                              Some letters at the beginning and end of lines have been obliterated during restoration at Birgitte
                              Dall's conservation workshop in <date from="1963" to="1966">1963-66</date>. There is a lacuna after fol. <locus>159</locus>, and fol. <locus>209</locus> is an addition
                              from the <date notBefore="1600" notAfter="1699">seventeenth century</date>. The bottom half of the
                              blank fol. <locus>84</locus> is cut away.</p>
