                        collection. All sagas and more (see <ref target="AM02-0147" type="ms">AM 147 fol.</ref>) reached Þormóður
                        in <date when="1685">1685</date> through a salesman in <name type="place">Eyrarbakki</name>, <name
                           key="ambig" role="owner" type="person">Andrese Laridtssyne Beck</name>, from séra <name key="TorJon002"
                           role="owner" type="person">Torfi Jónsson</name> í <name type="place">Gaulverjabæ</name>, except for the two first
                        and the last which were given to him by <name key="ArnMag001" role="owner" type="person">Árni Magnússon</name>. Árni
                        divided the book in <date when="1720">1720</date> (see <ref target="AM04-0453b" type="ms">AM 435 b
                           4to</ref>, fols. 9r-10). </p>
