Guðmundur Ólafsson: OtherAntikvitetskollegiet: OwnerGödel gives two contradictory statements about the acquisition of the manuscript; in his
catalogue he states that it was most likely Guðmundur Ólafsson who acquired the manuscript for the Antikvitetskollegiet in or before 1683, but in
Fornnorsk-isländsk littertur i Sverige I he claims that the manuscript was probably
acquired for the Antikvitetskollegiet by Jonas Rugman during a journey to
Iceland in 1661. Schück deems the latter an erratum, also
because he proves that Rugman never went to Iceland in 1661. The manuscript is listed in the
Antikvitetskollegiet's inventory from 1693.
