  • A smaller leaf with a table of contents is inserted in the front. On the back, there is the following note in pencil: "Ett pergamentblad, fragment ur bíbeln (eller Stjórn?) löstaget ur ryggen och lånadt åt Unger 23 Sept. 1862 Sedan lagdt till fragmenterna". Binding made of a single parchment leaf with Icelandic writing on it on the inside (both horizontally and vertically) In the outer corners of the front and back cover, a green band is attached, which was formerly used for closing the codex.
