  • On the recto of the first flyleaf: "Första Saga-Flockens Första THOM". Also "3/8" in the top-right hand corner. Also something has been scribbled out in the bottom-left hand corner.
  • On f. 1r a small Kungliga Bibliotek stamp is in the middle at the bottom of the page.
  • On the inside front cover there appears in ink "Fe 26", and "1955/16" and a coat of arms has been pasted in (an EX LIBRIS?). Three clams on a shield surrounded by a garland, the initials "D C" below and written in pencil "ika elsing". The coat of arms is thus the Celsing family's - Dika could refer to Frederika?
Moderately decorated (contemporary)
The volume is bound in cardboard covered in colourful marbelled paper. A white strip has been pasted along the spine and upon it a small yellow label which reads: "Riks-Bibliotek STOCKHOLM Handskrifter. N: F.e. 26". The fore-edge has been speckled in brown ink.
