- Árni Magnússon has marked some of the lacunae in the bottom margin of the previous page. A number of seventeenth-century notes in the lower margins of the codex provide information of the manuscript's extent at the time (108 leaves). Also written here and there in the margins are the names of various owners. On the front flyleaf, a little AM-slip is glued to the paper. Notes on the rebinding are given on the verso side of the front flyleaf: "Indbundet i jan. 1935. Tidligere i tarveligt bind fra 1880erne."
Moderately decorated (later)
Modern binding with brown leather on spine and corners. Gilded imprints on the spine: "AM 54 fol."
and "69". According to note on the front flyleaf, the manuscript was rebound in 1935, replacing a
binding from the 1880s.
1385-1599IcelandNote: The main part of the manuscript (1ra-72ra) was written in the second half or end of the 14th century. Fols. 72ra-73vb, items 2-3, were written ca. 1500, and fols. 74ra-76vb, items 4-5, were written in the 15th century.
