Olof senior: OwnerOlof Rudbeck junior: OwnerChristopher Henric Braad: OwnerJ.A.A. Lüdeke: OwnerKarl Johan XIV : OtherWilhelm Frimann Koren Christie: OtherAccording to a set of modern notes laid-in at the front of the volume, this MS was owned by Olof Rudbeck the elder. The copying was arranged by Peter Salan, from whom there are some letters to Rudbeck in items 20 and 22. It is likely that the manuscript was inherited by Olof Rudbeck the younger and that it was offered for sale in a public auction of his manuscripts in 1741. The next owner was Christopher Henric Braad, whose autograph appears at the top of the front pastedown. He owned the manuscript around 1745 at Stockholm according to another autograph on fol. 1r. Braad's manuscripts are said to have been acquired by J.A.A. Lüdeke and sold at auction in 1840. An inscription on the front pastedown reads: "Givet til Bergens Museum af Kong Carl Johan. 1840." (i.e. Charles XIV of Sweden and Norway). The inscription is in the hand of Wilhelm Christie according to the modern notes.
