Low
  • Initial: Most initials are missing, some are slightly decorated.
  • Illustration: A little dragon in the bottom margin of fol. 6v.
  • Other: Sparse decorative lines and ornaments at the end of some paragraphs.
Medium
  • Some younger marginalia. On the top margin of fol. 6v is written with a contemporary hand: "Sancta fenena". Árni Magnússon wrote on the original front pastedown bifolio (which is now bound before the parchment leaves): "Aptanaf Norna Gestz þætti. framanaf Orms þætti Storolfssonar." In front, there is a photo copied leaf (A4) inserted. According to a note by Magnus Olsen, it shows notes from the bookbinding process, referring to the following manuscripts: AM 567 4to, AM 568, AM 230 fol. and AM 234. The note reads: "Bogbindernotater - fundet af Eli(?) Rasmussen under katalogisering af Kommissionens arkiv den 12. februar 1982. Orig. ligger i samlemappe (aftagne bind, kort m. m.) MO"
Plain (later)
The fragment is kept in a cardboard binding with support for the individual leaves.
