Bound in modern (20th c.) brown linen. Earlier binding of plain pasteboard housed with manuscript. Both have small stickers reading "1111".

Autograph on fol. 9v: "hrólfur Einarsson". Wax seal affixed to fol. 10r with the initials "O.T." and a bird (peacock?); does not appear to be listed in Sigilla Islandica (1965), but appears similar to the seal of Björn ríkr Þórleifsson (Sig. Isl. II:197).
