  • Border: f.1r has decorations in red and black ink, a floral pattern, a crown on a flight of steps and a border in the two colours. Such a border also appears on fols. 2r and 13r. On f. 31v there is a decorative ink design filling up the page at the end of a text. On fols. 62v and 63r there are patterns of asterisks arranged in triangles. Red ink is used at various points for chapter headings and underlining.

  • On front flyleaf i verso, in red crayon is written "George Stephens. bought in Copenhagen 1854."
  • A small paper perforated label has been pasted in the inner back cover, bottom right-hand corner. "Msc. 36" has been written on it in pencil
Moderately decorated (contemporary)
The volume is bound with colourful marbelled paper on cardboard boards with black leather on the spine and corners. The front and back flyleaf are made from a printed leaf which seems to contain information similar to census information (?). The fore-edge of the book block is coloured red. The whole has been given a grey paper cover. A green label on said cover bears the shelfmark.
