  • Fols. 1 and 35 were added and written by Árni Magnússon.
  • There are very few marginal additions. The marginalia seem to have no connection with the text whatsoever:
    • (15r) "Om" has been added in a different hand on the right margin;
    • (28v:19) "hiole" on the left margin;
    • (29v:11) "griper" on the left margin;
    • (30r:23) "Enn mier" on the right margin;
    • (33r:14) "Stadr" on the right margin.
    Plain (later)
    Binding from 1887.

    Árni Magnússon: OwnerÁrni Magnússon got the manuscript in 1702. AM 285 4to was once part of a larger codex which was divided up by Árni Magnússon. The first part of the codex is now preserved in AM 342 4to, followed by AM 285 4to and AM 587c 4to. According to a now lost note by Árni Magnússon in AM 342 4to, the last part of the codex contained a now lost Sálus saga ok Nikanórs and maybe more lygisögur.
