On the inner front cover there has been written: "Säfstahalmssaml. 12." in pencil.

Moderately decorated (contemporary)

The volume is bound in white parchment, now somewhat dirty. On the spine the following has been written in ink: "M. S. S. 1 Illuga Grydar fostras 2 halfdan Brana fostras 3 Sorla Starkas 4 Bravalla 5 Hialmters och Olfiers Saga". There are also two white labels below on which are printed: "83" and "F.12". The fore-edge is red.
