"WB" with a small crown above, accompanied by a large circle with crown on top. There are some writings around the outline of the circle, a lion in the centre with a name (or other letters) at its feet. The watermark of the flyleaves reads "HOWARD" and shows a bee hive with ornaments.   • Scholarly notes in the margins, underlining and corrections of misspellings. On fol. 1r, Latin notes in the same hand as the corrections. On the front-flyleaf, a later hand added: "Island. Chart. in folio. No 73 1-3. Inbunden år 1843 G.O.H.C.". On fol. 374v, a little slip is glued onto the page: "Jatmund rex anglia cap. 24"
