  • In the manuscript's register, a Þórður Jónsson á Strandseljum is mentioned as the writer of the manuscript. Þórður's handwriting is on folios 1r-48v. The register lists folios 49r-66v as a separate part. They are in another hand, and the watermarks differ from those in the first part.
  • Páll Pálsson stúdent has provided the missing parts of the sagas and written their titles on notes placed at the relevant parts in the manuscripts.
