CodexPaperii, 80, iii317mm x 202mmIn the book-block, the watermark shows two lions holding an emblem with a large crown on top. Below the image, the letters AJ can be read. Possibly the same watermark as in AM 34 V 4to and AM 34 VI 4to. Similar to watermarks in AM 11 fol., distinguished by the letters. The flyleaves show a fool with a five-pointed collar. The central point is longer and ends in three balls instead of one. Cf. e.g. AM 8 fol. and AM 65 fol.Later foliation and contemporary pagination: Foliated with red ink in the top right corners by Kålund. • Some marginalia. The scribe added variants to Krákumál, most of them in comparison to Ole Worm's edition. On the first front flyleaf a note from Árni Magnússon reads: "fra Salig Assessor Thormod Torvesens Enke 1720."
Plain (contemporary)
Light brown parchment binding on card boards. On the spine, presumably Árni Magnússon wrote: "Ragnars Saga Loðbrokar". The outside of the front cover used to have brown writing and ornaments on it which were scraped off. The binding was restored and parts of the original pastedowns are glued over the present ones.
