Scholarly corrections and additions to the text, mostly in the outer columns.
On the fourth front flyleaf, Johan Peringskiöld added "Herra Loftur Jose afskrifvit. Anno 1687." and a table of contents.
Between the third and fourth front flyleaf, a little slip is inserted: "21/26".
On the original front cover, there are two stickers with the shelfmark, and two differnt notes: "L. N 20" and "Kätil Hängs och Erik Widsærlas Sagor m. fl."
On the verso side of the former front cover, there are three little slips of printed material glued onto the page.

Moderately decorated (later)

Modern cardboard binding with marbeled paper on the boards, spine and corners in white leather. The golden imprint on the spine reads: "Cod. Isl. Papp. Fol. N:o 102". The front cover of an older binding is preserved and now counted as a front flyleaf.
