Jón Eyjólfsson: CommissionerChristian V Kong af Danmark : OwnerBjörn Þorleifsson: OwnerThe manuscript and its first part, GKS 1002 fol., were written for Jón Eyjólfsson of Eyvindarmúli in Fljótshlíð. They came to Copenhagen about twenty years after they were written. The two volumes vere presented to king Christian V by reverend Björn Þorleifsson. They were returned to Iceland in 1971.
