  • A paper slip is glued onto fol. 50r. It reads "No 1 S. af Hrafnkiel Goda". Another slip is glued onto fol. 2r, reading: "No 2 Søgu þattur aff Nornagieste". On fol. 58r, the slip reads: "No 3 Sekikur Rymur" Scholarly notes in the margins and underlining. On the front cover, there are two stickers with the shelfmark and some writing in black ink: "34", "175" and a possibly a "G[..]vid(?) Sig [...]pr [...]ng"
Decorative
Pressed leather on card boards(?), traces of two metal clasps. In the ornaments there are a total of sixteen coin-like images of Roman emperors with their names (repeating). On the spine, "Cod Isl. Papp. 4:o N:o 15" and three crowns are imprinted in gold. According to V. Gödel, p. 278, the leather cover was formerly used for another codex.
