  • There is a smaller fragmentary leaf (fol. 71 bis) inserted between fols. 71 and 72, most likley written by the scribe himself. It contains text from Egils saga Skallagrímssonar
  • Originally, the binding contained manuscript waste beard a letter dated to the 4th of April 1853 from Valgerður Guðmundsdóttir to Kristín Skúladóttir. The letter is now additional material addMat01r-addMat01v.
Decorative (contemporary)
Pressed leather binding with wooden boards, spine embossed. Signs of clasps having been on the manuscript, but the hook for the clasp seems to have been lost. Corners crimped with metal covers. Pastedown leaves made of printed texts in Danish and Latin.

Magnús Ketilssonowned the manuscript in 1803. Later owned by Skúli Magnússon, Jón Eggertsson and Bogi Thorarensen.
