Marginalia difficult to read because of the damage. Most marginal remarks are contemporary, some seem to be added later in a different hand. Interesting places in the plot underlined.
  • 42r: "NB", to mark the place in the text where king Hrolf humiliates king Adils by slicing off his buttocks.
  • 43v: "NB", to mark the place in the text where warrior Hialti chops the nose off his mistress.
  • 44r: "XII", to mark the number of Hrolf's champions.
  • 55r: "hiarta", perhaps an addition or explanation of an abbreviation
  • 116r: "NB"
  • 122r: "NB"
  • 153v: signature (?)
