On the recto side of the front flyleaf can be read: "Þessa Søgu-Bök ä Einar Jonsson. Anno 1748 og gaf hana Widalin Er aftur gaf hana 1753. Jömfrü Ragneheide Einarsdóttur ä Sóndum." Fol. 121 is an added, smaller leaf with a note concerning Chapter LXXVI. On the verso side, "Ingebiorgu[!] Sigurdardotter" is written in a different hand. In the bottom margin of fol. 1r: "Oddur Magnusson". A note in a different hand at the end of item 3 (fol. 84v) reads: "Þesse Saga Var útlags af Jone Johannssyne Mumm á Breidabolstadi i Westurhope Ur Hollendsku Tungu=Mále [...]". A table of contents is added on the verso side of the front flyleaf and signed "PFSuhm". In the outer margin of fol. 127v, a name is written, possibly "GEIR MARCHUSSON". On fol. 185v, there are two additions. On top: "98 blad in folio" and with a less trained hand: "Saga þesse er af leon og leon". Some contemporary additions and comments in the margins. In the back, there is a small slip with the shelf mark inserted. A name on the inside of the back cover cannot be read anymore. Possibly "Gisli Þ... son"

Decorative (contemporary)

Dark brown leather binding with ornaments on front and back cover: mainly floral ornaments; small human figures inside of circles.
