Þessi saga er rituð eftir manuscripto skáldsins Þorbjarnar Salómonssonar og mun ei allstaðar kannske rétt því Exscriptum var so og so, líklegt til að sjóndapur maður hefði það í flýti skrifað og munu vísurnar í því þurfa revision. En capitula skiptin sýna sig sjálf. Sagan þessi var enduð þann 16da maí 1778 að Hömrum í Hraunhrepp af Thorkeli Sigurðarsyni.2.
